The apartment complex in Krynica-Zdrój is a dialogue between contemporary austerity and the mountain spatial context. Its compact 1704 m² volume follows the natural slope of the terrain, while the purity of white façades is warmed by wood detailing and balanced by a raw stone base. The five-storey building draws discreetly from local spa tradition, offering 15 investment apartments enclosed in an elegant, timeless form crowned by a distinctive graphite roof.

This intimate housing estate on Tyniecka Street in Kraków harmoniously blends modern form with suburban tranquillity. A cluster of six two-storey semi-detached buildings offering 11 residential units, distinguished by an elegant façade where light render is balanced by raw architectural concrete, warmed by wood-effect detailing, and completed by lightweight glass balustrades beneath a traditional gabled roof.

A contemporary interpretation of sacred architecture in Gołkowice Górne, based on an elliptical plan with rhythmically concave walls. The expressive tent roof forms the compositional centrepiece, its form transitioning seamlessly into a tower crowned by a cross. The 2068 m² building combines the liturgical function of the main nave with an extensive basement level housing a prayer and performance hall and a crypt.

TRZ Design Office represents over six decades of shaping the region's space. We believe that good architecture does not succumb to passing trends, but grows from a deep understanding of context and place. Each of our projects – from residential buildings to public utility facilities – is a continuation of the philosophy of responsible design initiated in 1960.

Architect and graduate of Kraków University of Technology. In his practice he combines a commitment to the highest functional standards with a deep sensitivity to local context. From 2011 to 2018 he served as City Architect of Nowy Sącz, and currently manages TRZ Office, continuing the development of the studio's legacy.

Architect and graduate of Kraków University of Technology, passionate about modern technologies and their creative application in architecture. At TRZ Office he combines a contemporary design workshop with BIM standards, creating residential, sports and cultural buildings that meet the challenges of the future.

Founder

Zenon Trzupek

Founder of the studio. Graduate of Kraków University of Technology (1959). As county and voivodeship architect in 1965–1981, he genuinely shaped the space of the entire region. Creator of Sącz regional modernism, author of numerous sacred and public utility buildings that have permanently become part of the landscape of the Sącz region and Podhale.
